Courtney Luk's debut full-length poetry book, Shadow at My Feet, is a product of processing trauma, chronic depression, and anxiety. It is with self-love that this book shows the tragedies and beauty of love, friendship, and the toxicity that lies between. In a time when it is hard to find oneself, it's easy to stray from society or wish to be removed altogether. These pages illustrate such pain but also paints hope.
